Senior Angular Developer (remote first)

MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively working with an innovative technology company to recruit a Senior Front End Developer to join their growing engineering team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly technical, product-focused organisation building modern, cross-platform applications used in real-world environments. The company operates a remote-first model, with a small but collaborative engineering presence in Belfast.

The Role

You will play a key role in designing and building high-performance front-end applications using a modern Angular stack. This is a truly cross-platform role, with applications spanning web, mobile, and desktop environments.

Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of scalable, real-time, data-driven interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using modern Angular (v15+)
• Build cross-platform solutions including Progressive Web Apps, mobile, and desktop applications
• Integrate with APIs and real-time data streams
• Implement scalable state management and optimise application performance
• Ensure high standards of accessibility, usability, and code quality

The Person

• Strong commercial experience with Angular (essential)
• Proven track record building complex front-end applications
• Strong TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (SCSS/Tailwind) skills
• Experience working in a modern front-end architecture environment
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first setting

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL or real-time data applications
• Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (e.g. mobile or desktop)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
