MCS Group are currently recruiting for a Senior AI Engineer in Dublin, supporting the design, build and delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions within a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on taking AI solutions from concept through to live production, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure, document intelligence, workflow automation and scalable enterprise delivery.

The Role:

• Design, build and deploy enterprise AI solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Develop production-grade AI systems rather than PoCs or experimental models
• Work across document intelligence, workflow automation and AI-driven operational processes
• Build scalable API-driven services and integrations across enterprise platforms
• Extract and structure data from high volumes of unstructured documents
• Integrate AI capabilities into downstream workflows and enterprise systems
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to solve complex operational challenges
• Own delivery across architecture, engineering, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement
• Help shape AI engineering standards, scalability and best practice within the wider organisation

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions into production environments on Azure
• Strong experience across the Microsoft AI stack including Azure AI Services and Document Intelligence
• Strong software engineering background with .NET and/or Python
• Experience building API-driven and service-oriented architectures
• Experience working with document processing, OCR or intelligent document extraction at scale
• Experience integrating enterprise systems including SharePoint and workflow platforms
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions
• Experience within Financial Services or another highly regulated environment is essential

Highly Desirable:

• Experience building workflow automation or AI-enabled operational tooling
• Exposure to monitoring, scaling and optimisation of AI systems in production
• Experience working within enterprise cloud transformation programmes
