MCS Group is pleased to be working alongside a well-established and highly successful FMCG organisation, adding a Recruiter for an initial 12-month Fixed-Term Contract based in Craigavon.

The Role

As a Recruiter, you will take ownership of the full recruitment process across a variety of business areas, working closely with managers to deliver effective hiring solutions. You will be responsible for sourcing quality candidates, developing talent pools, and ensuring an outstanding experience for both hiring managers and applicants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete recruitment process, from advertising vacancies and candidate sourcing through to interviews, compliance checks, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet both immediate and future workforce demands.
  • Identify and engage high-calibre candidates using LinkedIn, online job boards, social media channels, networking opportunities, and direct sourcing methods.
  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of recruitment requirements and provide specialist market insight.
  • Work collaboratively with HR and operational teams to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring and induction process.
  • Contribute to workforce planning activities by anticipating future recruitment needs and implementing proactive attraction campaigns.
  • Track recruitment trends and analyse hiring data to improve sourcing strategies and recruitment performance.
  • Keep recruitment records and candidate information accurate and up to date using internal systems and applicant tracking software.
  • Ensure all hiring activities comply with employment legislation, company policies, and internal service standards.
  • Support and strengthen the employer brand by delivering a positive and professional candidate journey.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or another fast-moving industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple vacancies within a high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to balance competing priorities.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • A CIPD qualification or relevant third-level education would be beneficial.
