Quality Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Quality Engineer (4 day week) for our client who is a leading manufacturing business in County Down. This role will support quality systems, compliance, continuous improvement, supplier quality, and new product introduction within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and audit activities

Managing non-conformances, CAPA and supplier quality issues

Supporting FAI, PPAP and NPI activities

Developing quality documentation and inspection plans

Analysing KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Supporting calibration systems and compliance documentation

Acting as a key contact for customer quality queries

You will have:

Degree qualification in Engineering

Recent experience in a Quality role within manufacturing

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems

Experience with audits, CAPA, FAI and PPAP

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings

You will receive:
