Project Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Project Manager for our client, a well-established civil engineering consultancy delivering infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.
This role will involve leading civil engineering projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while working closely with clients, contractors, and internal design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects through all project stages
• Develop project scopes, programmes, and budgets
• Act as the primary client contact
• Support tender reviews and procurement activities
• Coordinate design teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, risks, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations, CDM, and quality procedures

About You

• Minimum 3 years' project management experience within a civil engineering consultancy
• Strong NEC and Public Works contract experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial and project delivery awareness

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• APM PMQ/PPQ or similar qualification preferred
