Product Manager - AI

Dublin (Hybrid)

MCS Group are exclusively partnering with a growing AI Platform business with clients and operations across the UK & Ireland as they look to hire a Product Manager to lead the build of a brand new product and business function.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity for someone who wants to come in as the first Product hire on a major new initiative, helping shape not only the product itself, but the wider team, operating model and long term product function as the company continues to scale.

The role sits at the centre of Engineering, Delivery and Commercial teams, focused on building and launching new platform capabilities, driving adoption and helping define the future direction of the business.

The Role

  • Take ownership of a brand new product area and help shape its long term vision and strategy

  • Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to launch and GTM

  • Own and evolve the roadmap for a core AI platform product

  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Delivery and Commercial teams to define product direction

  • Translate customer, market and business requirements into clear product decisions

  • Drive cross functional collaboration across technical and non technical teams

  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships internally and externally

  • Help shape how new features and capabilities are positioned and brought to market

  • Support the adoption of AI and emerging technologies across different customer use cases

  • Play a key role in building and shaping the future product team and capability

What They're Looking For

  • Experience working as a Product Manager within a software or technology environment

  • Proven experience taking products from 0 to 1 within a startup or scaling business

  • Experience building new products, functions or business areas from the ground up

  • Strong understanding of product development, delivery and GTM strategy

  • Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments

  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Strong cross functional experience across Product, Engineering, Delivery and Commercial teams

  • Ability to bridge technical and non technical conversations effectively

  • Exposure to AI, data platforms or emerging technologies

  • Comfortable operating in fast paced, evolving environments with high levels of ownership

  • Someone excited by the opportunity to come in early, build, shape and scale a new function within the business
