People Business Partner - Growing Multi-Site Organisation - Dundalk
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation as they seek to appoint an experienced People Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a key appointment within the People function and an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a pivotal role in supporting a significant period of growth and organisational transformation.
The Role
Reporting into the wider people function, the successful candidate will take ownership of the HR agenda for a growing business area, acting as the trusted HR partner for managers and senior leaders.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Partner with business leaders to align People strategies with operational objectives, growth plans, and workforce needs.
- Provide expert HR guidance on employee relations matters, including performance, absence management, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
- Drive culture and values by embedding company behaviours and standards across recruitment, on boarding, performance management, and employee communications.
- Support talent development through workforce planning, succession planning, learning initiatives, and leadership coaching.
- Lead the implementation of People policies, processes, and programmes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and best practice across the region.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to attract, hire, and onboard talent, delivering a positive and engaging employee experience.
- Enhance employee engagement and well-being by supporting surveys, action planning, inclusion initiatives, and well-being programmes.
- Use people data and insights to identify trends, recommend improvements, and drive a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture.
The Successful Candidate
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- Proven track record operating at HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager level
- Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, industrial or similarly operational environments (highly desirable)
- Ability to work independently and build credibility quickly with stakeholders
- Strong coaching and influencing skills
- Proven experience supporting organisational growth and change
- Excellent employee relations experience
- Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- CIPD qualified (Preferable)
