Packaging Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Packaging Manager for our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment, leading packaging operations and driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily packaging operations and manage operational teams
• Drive KPIs including OEE, waste, downtime, and quality
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives across packaging operations
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Technical teams

About You

• Experience in a Packaging Manager, Production Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership role
• Background within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or other high-volume production environments beneficial
• Strong leadership and operational management experience
• Experience driving performance and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards
