Operations Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Operations Manager for our client.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across production, planning, and supply chain, ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and quality targets are met
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and reduce waste
• Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams on the shop floor
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and promote a strong safety culture

About You

• Proven experience in an operations or production management role within engineering or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of production processes, planning, and supply chain coordination
• Experience implementing continuous improvement or Lean methodologies
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage teams at all levels

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Manufacturing
