Operations and Logistics Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy industrial operation.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of materials while leading operational teams and driving continuous improvement.

You will:

• Manage daily operational activities and coordinate with contractors, hauliers, and external stakeholders.
• Lead, develop, and support operational teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality, and performance initiatives.
• Support TPM activities to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and legislation.

You will have:

• Experience in an operations, logistics, production, or site management role within an industrial environment.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience managing operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of TPM and maintenance practices would be advantageous.
• Engineering, Operations, or Business qualification desirable but not essential.
