IT Procurement Specialist

MCS Group is working exclusively with a high-growth, international technology company as they continue to scale their operations in Northern Ireland. We're looking for an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join the business and play a key role in software, hardware, and IT services spend within a complex, global environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in technology procurement who is keen to step into a role with real scope, visibility, and influence.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you'll manage sourcing activity end-to-end - from spend analysis and RFPs through to contract negotiation, renewals, and supplier management. You'll work closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and senior stakeholders, acting as a key commercial partner across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting and delivering IT procurement strategy across software, hardware, and services
• Managing RFP/RFQ processes from initiation through to completion
• Negotiating IT and software contracts, renewals, and commercial terms
• Building and managing supplier relationships to drive value, cost optimisation, and risk management
• Engaging with senior stakeholders and communicating effectively across the business

What we're looking for

• Proven experience supporting or leading IT contract negotiations (software or SaaS procurement experience preferred)
• Background in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial roles
• Comfortable reviewing contracts and contributing to negotiations
• Able to balance stakeholder needs with strong commercial judgement
• Organised, pragmatic, and confident working independently

Nice to have

• Experience with procurement tools such as SAP / Ariba, Oracle, or Coupa

Salary

Up to £60,000 plus a leading benefits package.
