We're working with a long-standing Dublin-based business that has built a strong reputation over the years and continues to grow.
They're a team of 250+ people, working on large, high-profile projects with some really well-known global clients. It's a busy, fast-moving environment, but one that genuinely puts a lot of emphasis on culture, collaboration, and keeping things enjoyable day to day.
From a tech perspective, they've invested well and continue to evolve, so you're not stepping into something stale or overly rigid.
The Opportunity
This is the kind of IT Support role people often say they want, but don't always find.
Yes, there are tickets. But this isn't a "sit behind a screen and close tickets all day" type job.
You'll be out on the floor, speaking to people, solving problems in real time, and becoming a go-to person across the business. The role naturally gives you a lot of visibility, and that's something the team really values.
You'll be joining a small IT team where everyone gets stuck in. There's a good mix of day-to-day support and exposure to wider systems and projects, so you're constantly learning rather than just repeating the same tasks.
It's a great move for someone who feels like they've outgrown a standard service desk role and wants something a bit more hands-on and engaging.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be supporting the wider business with whatever comes up day to day - from user issues and device setups to getting involved in broader fixes and improvements.
Some days will be busier than others (roughly 15-30 tickets between the team), but the key difference here is how the team works together. It's collaborative, you're not left on your own, and there's a shared responsibility to get things sorted quickly.
A big part of the role is also how you interact with people. You'll be dealing with everyone from junior staff to senior leaders, so being able to explain things clearly and build trust is just as important as your technical ability.
What They're Looking For
- Around 3-5 years' experience in IT Support
- Someone comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Solid fundamentals across Microsoft technologies and general troubleshooting
- Most importantly, someone who enjoys working with people and being visible in the business
They're not overly focused on certifications. If you want to pursue them, they'll support you, but attitude and approach matter more here.
How This Role Works
This is an on-site role, and that's intentional.
Because of how hands-on and people-facing the role is, being in the office is a big part of it. There is flexibility to work from home one day a week once you've settled in, but day-to-day you'll be in the mix with the wider team.
