  • Travel: A current full driving licence valid for the UK and access to a car upon appointment (waived if a disability prohibits driving but an approved alternative form of transport is available).

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Business Development: Leading the co-ordination of BSO's strategic planning processes, managing the annual BSO Business Plan, and implementing corporate wide customer relationship and service improvement strategies.
  • Customer Engagement & Service Level Management: Acting as a champion for external customers, negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs), creating corporate feedback mechanisms, and managing contract management and demand forecasting.
  • Performance Management Framework: Designing and deploying an organisation-wide performance management framework, identifying key performance indicators, and presenting timely, accurate performance data to internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Governance, Risk & Executive Operations: Managing the operational production of the Corporate Risk and Assurance Report and Board Governance Assessments. This includes providing operational management for the Office of the Chair and Chief Executive, complaints management, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Senior Directorate Leadership: Serving as an active member of the Directorate's Senior Management Team, leading on policy development, and deputising for the Director at meetings of the BSO Board, Executive Leadership Team, and Department of Health accountability reviews.
