HR Officer

HR Officer - Antrim - Permanent
We are pleased to be working exclusively with a well-established private sector organisation seeking to appoint a motivated and versatile HR Officer to their growing team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional with broad generalist experience who enjoys operating in a busy environment and is committed to supporting people-focused initiatives, operational excellence, and ongoing development.

The main responsibilities:

• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including preparing job specifications, posting vacancies, shortlisting applicants, and coordinating interview processes.
• Support the onboarding journey for new employees, ensuring an effective and welcoming induction experience.
• * Act as an initial point of contact for HR guidance, advising managers and staff on company policies and employment procedures.
• Assist with employee relations matters including absence monitoring, grievance handling, and low-level disciplinary cases, ensuring accurate record keeping throughout.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support employees throughout the full employment lifecycle.
• Ensure employee data and HR records are maintained accurately and compliantly in accordance with GDPR requirements and company standards.
• Provide support in reviewing, updating, and introducing HR policies and procedures where required.

The ideal candidate:

• Hold a third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Possess, or working towards a CIPD qualification.
• Demonstrate previous HR generalist experience, preferrably within a fast-paced environment
• Have a sound working knowledge of Northern Ireland employment legislation and its practical application.
