HR Officer - Permanent - Award winning organisation

MCS group is thrilled to be partnering with an award-winning organisation as they look to add an HR Officer to their team in this full-time, permanent opportunity.

The role:

You will take ownership of all site-based HR and people management activity, ensuring best practice across employee relations, engagement, payroll coordination and people processes.

The main responsibilities:

  • Leading day-to-day HR operations across the site.
  • Supporting managers with employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Driving colleague engagement, communication and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Delivering coaching, training and performance feedback to colleagues and line managers.
  • Ensuring consistent application of HR policies and employment legislation.
  • Managing weekly payroll processes accurately and on time.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and wider people processes.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience in a similar HR management / people management role in ROI.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience of ROI employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing employee relations casework and absence processes.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards).
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
