HR Advisor - Permanent

MCS Group delighted to be working with a leading FinTech organisation based in Belfast who are looking to add an HR Advisor to their team.

The Role

We are recruiting for a HR Advisor to support the delivery of a professional and efficient HR service across the business. Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide advice and support on a range of people matters while helping to deliver an excellent employee experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR support and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and people-related matters.
• Support on boarding, off boarding and employee life cycle processes.
• Assist with employee relations issues, absence management and general HR administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
• Produce HR reports and workforce data to support business decision-making.
• Support compliance, audit and record-keeping requirements.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, process improvements and HR projects.
• Build strong working relationships across the organisation and promote a positive workplace culture.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or HR Advisor position.
• Good understanding of HR practices and UK employment legislation.
• Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering a high-quality employee experience.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site or global organisation.

• Exposure to HR projects, process improvement initiatives or employee engagement activities.
