HR Advisor
A leading NI organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in a broad, generalist role. Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll support employee relations, people initiatives, and operational HR activity within a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
The role
As HR Advisor, you will report to the HR Manager and provide proactive, generalist HR support across the business. You will support managers with employee relations matters, contribute to people strategy delivery, and help implement HR initiatives that promote engagement, development, and compliance across the business.
The main responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management cases.
- Support recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and training compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring employee data is accurate and compliant.
- Contribute to delivery of people strategy objectives and monitor key HR metrics.
- Coordinate occupational health referrals and support wellbeing initiatives.
- Support diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement activities.
- Collaborate with managers on workforce planning and resourcing needs.
- Assist with TUPE transfer processes and organisational change activity.
- Participate in HR projects and cross-site collaboration initiatives.
- Support community engagement and continuous improvement activities.
The ideal candidate
- CIPD or relevant third-level qualification.
- Proven experience in an HR generalist role and fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience working with HR systems and data management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
