HR Advisor
We're looking for an HR Advisor to join a growing organisation in a varied, generalist role. You'll support recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, while working closely with managers in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
The role
As HR Advisor, you will support managers and employees across a range of HR activities. You will take ownership of recruitment and onboarding, provide guidance on employee relations matters, and support the development of HR policies and processes. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can work independently while contributing to a supportive HR function.
The main responsibilities
* Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with department leads and external recruitment agencies.
* Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and ensure a professional candidate experience.
* Schedule and deliver new starter induction sessions.
* Ensure employment contracts and right-to-work checks are completed in line with legal and company requirements.
* Support payroll administration for weekly and salaried team members.
* Maintain accurate HR records and carry out general HR administrative duties.
* Coordinate the performance review process across the company.
* Provide HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
* Support continuous improvement of HR policies and processes to enhance engagement.
* Assist managers with absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related issues.
The ideal candidate
- CIPD or relevant third-level qualification.
- Previous experience in an HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practice.
- Proactive, organised, and professional approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
