Health and Safety Officer

MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for our client, a leading electrical contractor specialising in data centre and large-scale electrical projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering high-profile projects while playing a key role in maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Support site teams in promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture
• Provide health & safety guidance to operational teams
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of health & safety documentation

About You

• Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, engineering or M&E
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry best practice
• Experience working on large-scale or fast-paced construction projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Data centre project experience is advantageous but not essential
• NEBOSH Certificate
• Full driving licence
