Group Buyer

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Group Buyer for our client, a leading building services and facilities management contractor operating across Northern Ireland.
This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take ownership of procurement and buying activities across the group. You'll play a key role in strengthening supplier relationships, driving commercial value, and supporting the business through an exciting period of growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead procurement and buying activities across the group
* Negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements
* Drive cost savings and supply chain improvements
* Manage supplier performance and procurement controls
* Work closely with commercial, operational, and finance teams

About You

* Experience in buying, procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles within construction, M&E, FM, or building services
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially minded with a focus on value and efficiency
* Open to experienced Buyers, Procurement Officers and more
