Join a busy finance team where you'll play a key role in supporting high-volume purchase ledger activities, processing supplier payments, and maintaining accurate financial records within a fast-paced environment.
MCS Group are proud to be partnering with an organisation in their search for a Finance Administrator. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with strong purchase ledger experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of financial transactions accurately.
The Role:
* Process high-volume supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment processing.
* Manage purchase ledger administration, including supplier set-up, invoice processing, and payment runs.
* Process partner claims, project advances, and maintain supporting financial documentation.
* Maintain financial ledgers, journals, and electronic filing systems to ensure accurate financial records.
* Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, audit preparation, and reconciliation activities.
* Support the implementation and ongoing use of Microsoft Dynamics and other finance systems.
* Liaise with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to resolve payment queries and provide administrative support.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential:
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths (Grades A-C).
* Experience working within a finance environment.
* Previous purchase ledger experience, including processing high-volume invoices and supplier payments.
* Experience using financial systems alongside strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
