MCS are delighted to be working with a leading technology solutions company, who are looking to recruit an experienced Field Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing field sales team across Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused sales leader who enjoys coaching, developing talent, and driving new business growth within the hospitality sector.
You will spend time both in the field and working closely with your team, providing hands-on coaching while ensuring sales targets and performance objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Account Executives.
- Support your team through prospecting, customer visits, walk-ins, and product demonstrations.
- Drive new business growth across your assigned territory.
- Monitor team performance using Salesforce reporting and forecasting tools.
- Analyse sales activity, pipeline performance, and conversion metrics.
- Take ownership of achieving team revenue and new business targets.
- Recruit, develop, and grow the field sales function as the business continues to expand.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Account Management, Product, and Customer Success to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience managing and developing a field-based sales team.
- A strong track record of leading a full-cycle B2B sales function from prospecting through to closing.
- Experience using Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Previous experience within SaaS, or a similar sector is highly desirable.
- A passion for coaching and developing high-performing sales professionals.
- Strong outbound business development experience and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
