Fabrication Supervisor (4 Day Week)

MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily fabrication operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

You will:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of welders and fabricators.
• Organise workloads and prioritise jobs to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Ensure all fabrication work is completed to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency within the department.
• Support, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive working culture.

About you:

• Experienced in fabrication or welding within a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a fabrication team.
• ? Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and quality standards.
• ? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
