ER Advisor - Belfast - Hybrid

MCS Group is pleased to be partnering with a well-established NI organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Advisor for their Belfast-based head office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a collaborative and people-focused environment, supporting managers and employees across a large multi-site operation.

The Role

Reporting into the senior HR team, the successful candidate will provide practical and commercially focused employee relations support across the business while helping to drive wider people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to managers on a broad range of employee relations matters
• Assist with investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and absence management cases
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives aligned to organisational objectives
• Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures
• Promote best practice and ensure compliance with employment legislation across NI and ROI
• Work closely with operational managers to support performance, engagement, and retention initiatives
• Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to HR reporting where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Advisory or heavily ER-focused role
• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent / willingness to complete)
• Previous experience within a fast-paced, multi-site environment (beneficial)
• Strong understanding of NI employment legislation; ROI knowledge desirable
• Experience supporting TUPE-related activity would be advantageous
• Ability to manage a varied workload independently
• Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
