Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

MCS Group are proud to be working with a prestigious Dublin based organisation that's investing heavily in its IT and digital capability. They're looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a programme of infrastructure, security and operational change.

This role sits within an internal IT function and focuses on delivering business-critical projects end-to-end, working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders. This is a permanent opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package.

(Hybrid - Dublin City Centre)

What You'll Be Doing...

• Supporting and maintaining Azure environments across production and non-production
• Acting as a 2nd/3rd line escalation point for complex cloud issues
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep)
• Automating operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting Microsoft 365 services (identity, security, access)
• Contributing to monitoring, security, and governance best practices
• Driving continuous improvement across cloud operations

What they're looking for

• Strong hands-on Azure experience in live environments
• Experience with IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep)
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions etc.)
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity, and networking
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
• Unrestricted right to work in Ireland

Nice to have

• Azure Certifications a strong advantage
