Band 6 CT Radiographer

MCS Group are proud to be partnering with a leading healthcare organisation in their search for a CT Radiographer (Band 6). This role is ideal for an experienced Radiographer looking to develop their expertise in CT, contribute to service improvement, and support the development of junior colleagues within a busy imaging department.

The Role:

• Deliver a high-quality CT Radiography service, performing advanced CT examinations independently.
• Ensure safe, effective patient care while maintaining professional and radiation safety standards.
• Support and supervise junior Radiographers, students, and Radiography Assistants.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HCPC, IR(ME)R and Trust policies.
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement, and continuous professional development.
• Work collaboratively within the wider Radiology team to provide an efficient diagnostic imaging service.
• Participate in a rotational CT service, including shift work, weekends, and on-call duties.

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent).
• HCPC registered (or eligible for registration).
• Post-qualification Radiography experience.
• Excellent knowledge of CT Radiography practice and radiation protection.
• Strong communication, organisational, and team working skills.
• Ability to supervise and support junior staff.
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport (or alternative suitable transport arrangements).

📍 Location: Craigavon Area Hospital
💷 Salary: Band 6 NHS Salary Scale
📄 Contract: Full-time | 37.5 hours per week
