Assistant Production Manager (Days)

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Production Manager for a leading advanced manufacturing company.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment supplying complex components to global customers.

You will:

• Lead daily production activities and ensure operational targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality and planning teams to maximise performance.
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety and 5S standards.
• Support employee training, development and performance management.
• Assist with production planning, material control and stock management.
• Deputise for the Manufacturing Manager when required.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, Shift Manager or similar role within a heavy manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
