Accounts Assistant

MCS Group is delighted to be working with an accountancy practice in the Downpatrick area to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As the successful Accounts Assistant, key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting with the preparing and submission of VAT returns for a range of clients
• Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day practice duties
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience working within an accountancy practice environment is highly desirable
• Candidates from industry with exposure to accounts duties will also be considered
• Strong communication and client-facing skills with a personable approach
• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
