Accounts Assistant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a growing engineering business based in County Armagh to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Company

Our client is a highly successful and fast-growing business with a strong reputation for delivering major projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its finance function to meet increasing demand.

The Role

As the successful Accounts Assistant, key responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate data entry
• Assisting with VAT returns, intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Supporting payroll administration
• Providing general ad hoc support across the function

What You Need to Succeed

• Previous experience in accounts/finance
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience working with accounting software, ideally SAGE
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume workload

• Salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate
