Luke Maddison

Luke Maddison joined MCS Group in May 2025 as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, focusing on mid to senior finance appointments across Northern Ireland. In his role, he works closely with both clients and candidates, supporting hiring processes from initial brief through to placement. His day-to-day work involves building relationships with finance professionals, understanding business needs, and advising on market conditions to ensure well-matched, sustainable hires. He operates across a wide range of industries, providing a clear and practical approach to recruitment.

Luke specialises in mid to senior finance roles within industry, working with organisations across Northern Ireland outside of accountancy practice.

He brings a broader perspective to his work through previous experience in the technology sector, giving him a strong understanding of the systems and data shaping modern finance functions.

Before joining MCS, Luke worked for a recruitment agency in England, where he managed a life sciences recruitment team. Earlier in his career, he held a role within a global bank.

He holds a degree in Mathematics and draws on his banking background in his work.

Outside of recruitment, Luke plays football for his local team in the Northern Irish Amateur League.
