Publications Officer

The Role will consist of:

• Producing publications by drafting content and coordinating with suppliers.
• Ensuring materials meet corporate standards through proofreading and editing.
• Coordinating production schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Collaborating with the Marketing Production Manager on specifications and tendering.
• Managing budgets and administrative tasks.
• Coordinating material distribution and website updates.
• Handling other duties as needed.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• One year of Marketing Production or similar experience, or two years in marketing.
• Minimum 3 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent, or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Team player with leadership ability.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience of budget administration/ control.
• Print buying and print quality control experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Access.
