Assistant Project Manager (Rail/Civil)

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Project Manager (Civil/Infrastructure/Rail) for our prestigious client based in Dublin.

As an Assistant Project Manager, working within Programmes and Projects you will:

• Assist with the delivery of critical programmes and projects, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor & report on all aspects of the implementation of projects ensuring smooth project implementation.
• Provide advice and assist with the implementation of arrangements required by applicable industry standards, regulations, and legislation.
• Provide professional support in terms of management of projects.

The successful candidate:

• Will hold a degree on Building, Engineering, Construction or Project Management or relevant applicable work experience (minimum 5 years)
• Member of Engineers Ireland or other relevant professional body.
• Minimum of 5 years significant project management experience in civil engineering in Railways or relevant engineering environment.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce and manage budgets of similar projects.
• Competent in the use of the Microsoft suite of software, word, excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.
