Job Description
MCS are delighted to be recruiting for a 2nd/ 3rd line support engineer for an established MSP based in Belfast.
Our client is local success story that provides high quality services and solutions for an established customer base across the province. Due to their continued growth and success, they have an opportunity for a 2nd/3rd line support engineer to step into the role of team lead at their Belfast site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Support professional to join a local recommended employer and take a step towards a managerial role.
The role
- Be involved in support and project work for local clients support both software and hard issues (remote and onsite)
- Be responsible for mentoring junior staff and overseeing performance including SLAs ticket allocation and KPIS
- Use your experience to ensure highest customer service including setting standards for best practice, monitoring the team and ensure standards met
- Act as an escalation point for tickets when required

To be successful
- Proven experience as a 2nd/ 3rd line support engineer
- Exposure to trouble shooting across relevant technologies including o365, active directory, SharePoint
- Exposure to windows servers and firewalls
- Background within Cloud based technologies e.g. Azure
- Experience in management or mentoring junior staff
- Full driving licence
