Company Accountant - Magherafelt

MCS Group are looking for a Company Accountant to join a leading property maintenance company based in Magherafelt.

The Role:

As the successful Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Stock valuation and work in progress/accrued income
• Control account reconciliations including bank, debtors, creditors, pension etc
• Preparation and submission of UK and ROI VAT returns
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Internal controls, process documentation/flow charts
• Annual budgeting, planning, forecasting and cashflow projections
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Company Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified/Part Qualified/Qualified by experience Accountant;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong Communication skills;
• Strong Excel skills.
