Fullstack Software Developer (Python/Django)

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a brand new thriving start-up to Belfast looking to build out a team to develop a new platform estimated to dominate the health and fitness industry in 2024. They are seeking a passionate full stack developer to join their team!

The Role:

My client is looking for a fullstack software engineer experienced in Python/Django and any frontend framework, ideally React. In this role you will be responsible for helping built out the application and have full ownership, being involved in all aspects of the software development life-cycle.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an extremely talented and highly technical close-knit team of engineers. You will have a real input in the future direction of this company and their product. You will be given full autonomy and the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, influencing critical decisions. Role Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years' experience in software engineering
• Proficient in Python and frontend frameworks e.g. React/Vue/Angular
• Knowledge of Django is a non-negotiable
• Most importantly, you will be a self-motivated, driven, and enthusiastic engineer that enjoys learning new technologies and sharing your knowledge across the team.
• Interest or experience in learning Go Lang would be a bonus!
