Finance Officer

The Role will consist of:

• Leading on transaction processing and being the retained finance point of contact for the organisation
• Put in place monthly controls to provide high quality governance and reporting
• Develop cash management processes and manage bank funding from Treasury
• Monthly spend control reporting
• Processing monthly journals
• Liaise with stakeholders
• Support year end reporting, ensuring audit requirements are met

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant/ part qualified accountant
• Extensive financial experience
• Demonstration of the organisations values
• Willingness to be assessed against CTC clearance requirements if not already cleared

Desirable:

• Experience working in a government department and understanding of government finance
