Backend Software Developer

MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering with a global company specialising in the delivery of enterprise platforms which leverage Blockchain technologies. Due to their continued success and growing global customer base, they are now on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join their close-knit Belfast team and dive straight in on projects.

This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies (Micro-services architecture, Typescript, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, containers, cloud) alongside a highly experienced team that will help you take your career to the next level. You will be given the freedom and autonomy to help shape direction and really put your own stamp on the work you do.

The Role

In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of new greenfield projects. You will work on the development of new features and components, utilising the latest cutting-edge technologies and will be involved in everything from sprint planning to development, testing and deployment.

The Person

• 2+ years software development experience (backend)
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript or Node.js preferred but experience with any other object orientated language also considered
• Experience working with a cloud provider such as Azure, AWS or GCP beneficial but not essential
• Most importantly you will be a passionate software engineer that is happy to get stuck in and contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by keeping up to date with emerging technologies
