The Role

• Greenfield development on a market-disrupting product which aims to empower workers within the oil, gas and renewable energy industry
• Work with the latest and greatest languages and frontend frameworks - Google Cloud Platform, Kotlin, Kubernetes & Docker, React, Typescript, Material-UI, Graph QL, Neo4j, Node.js, NestJS, MongoDb, PostgreS, and Kafka.
• Play an integral role in technical decisions and the design, architecture and development of the product platform
• Collaborate across the organisation with stakeholders and cross functional teams including Engineering, Product and Design
• Provide technical leadership and support & mentor colleagues within a close-knit team of strong engineers

The Person

• 4+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
• Experience with a JVM language - ideally Kotlin or Node.js, but if you've previously worked with another language (Java, C#, Python, Go etc) and are happy to cross-train, get in touch!
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure
• If you have experience working within a SaaS or Product house, that's great!
• Most importantly, you will be a keen technologist that is highly motivated to learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies. You will be willing to share your technical knowledge and contribute to an environment of continuous improvement within the team.
