MCS Group is proud to be partnering with a global leader in the financial trading industry as they recruit for a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to join their brand new Belfast team. This company is a leader in their field, operating an award-winning asset trading and liquidity platform that manages trillions of dollars of assets across the globe! This is an amazing opportunity to join a well-established global organisation at the beginning of their Belfast journey, working on cutting-edge, robust and high performance applications using Python
What you'll be doing:
- Work on high-performance trading applications used worldwide to facilitate and manage financial trades using Python, C++, SQL and Linux
- Work across the full software development lifecycle - contributing to technical decisions, creating software solutions and building, delivering and maintaining trading applications used globally and internally
- Work as part of a collaborative and high-performing team

Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience working with Python
- Solid knowledge of working with SQL
- Previous experience working as an individual contributor with experience across the full software development lifecycle
- If you have any experience working within FinTech or financial trading, that's a bonus!
