MCS Group are looking for a Senior Auditor/Assistant Manager to join a well established accountancy practice in the Belfast area.

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice in the Belfast area. They provide a range of services from Accounts, Audit, Taxation, Corporate Finance etc. to an array of clients across NI, UK & ROI. Due to continued growth, now is a great time to join the company as they look to add a Senior Auditor/Assistant Manager to their team.

The Role:

As the successful Senior Auditor/Assistant Manager you will have the following responsibilities:

• Working with Audit Managers to ensure 1st class delivery of audit services
• Efficient audit planning with a focus on risk assessment
• Preparation and review of financial statements and high-quality working papers
• Supervision of the assigned audit team during all stages of the audit process
• Mentoring juniors and reviewing work
• There is also the opportunity to get exposure to other areas (accounts, tax etc.)

The Person:

The successful Senior Auditor/Assistant Manager will meet the following criteria:

• Newly Qualified (ACA/ACCA)
• 1-2 years post qualified experience for Assistant Manager role
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Training contract completed in a majority audit role
