Junior HR Officer

Junior HR Officer - Kildare - Industry leading organisation

MCS Group has been chosen to partner with an organisation that is an industry leader in its respective field, as they look to introduce a Junior HR Officer to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team supporting the HR team and the wider organisation. The job duties include training and development, recruitment, employee relations, attendance management, and management of information systems.

The main responsibilities:

• Carry out the full administration duties within the recruitment and selection process. Including advice and guidance to line managers and participate in shortlisting and selection panels when required.
• Provide a confidential support service to the HR dept including arranging and servicing meetings and supporting Disciplinary, Grievance and Absence Management issues as required.
• Assist in the implementation of the Attendance management policy.
• Calculate employees' leave entitlements, issue annual leave cards, and maintain annual leave records.
• Provide support to the wider HR team on a full range of HR activities.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders and legislative bodies as necessary in connection with HR matters.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience at HR Assistant level.
• 3rd Level HR Qualification or in a related discipline.
• Strong IT skills, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
