Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working with one of NIs most dynamic legal firms as they seek to expand their in house IT support team. You will be providing essential IT support to colleagues that work with many of NIs top 100 companies and will be given a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow in your role, and gain invaluable exposure to Cyber Security principles and hands on work.
The role:
- You will be supporting 200 users via phone, email and and remote access tools
- Dealing with stakeholders of all levels you will posses a calm and professional demeanour at all times
- You will also be required to assist the wider IT team with in going project work and will be responsible for hardware lifestyles and upgrades
Due to the nature of the work you will also move into a role where you will be responsible for-
- Maintaining the orginisations CyberSecurity Essentials and ISO 27001 accredidations
- Technical audits
- Remedial action support following pen test and venerability scanning tools Microsoft and common third party software patch management
- Promote Informatiuon Security staff awareness material and help to embed best practices during support engagements
- Contributing to projects across the infrastructure and support team
Techs you'll be working with:
Windows server '16 - '19, TCP IP, Active directory, troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity - Cisco and Palo Alto, VMware servers, along with legal applications including but not limited to digital dictation, legal account management software. Support of BOYD, tablets, iPhone and android.
About you:
- You must be a diligent and hardworking troubleshooter
- Proven 2 years experience in first line support role
- Have 3rd level or IT professional qualification
