HR Assistant - Professional Services - Belfast

MCS Group is thrilled to be working alongside a global law firm, in the recruitment of an HR Assistant on a 1 year long fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to gain hands-on exposure to the full HR function.

The role

The HR Assistant will support the HR Team to deliver a pro-active HR Service through -

• Ensure all HR related data is properly maintained throughout the employee life cycle.
• Co-ordinate inductions for all new joiners and liaise with other departments.
• Assist in all on-boarding and off-boarding duties.
• Assist the recruitment team with the delivery of the recruitment process.
• Assist with employee relations related issues.
• Support with monthly payroll processes by collecting data in advance of the monthly cut off.
• Maintain employee files, ensuring all relevant documentation is kept up to date.

The Person

• CIPD Qualified.
• Degree in HR or a relative field.
• At least 1.5 years' experience within an HR team, with experience in using HRIS desirable.
• Ability to work proactively and use own ability.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Efficient in using Microsoft office suite.
