Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working with a leading name in Warehousing & Distribution, to recruit a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their rapidly growing team.

You will;
- Support the business and teams to enable compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Carry out audits and inspections of work to ensure compliance with legislation and our health and safety management systems.
- Ensure that employee training is kept up to date and recorded accurately (counter balance, pivot truck, driver's licenses, manual handling training etc).
- Conduct risk assessments on site and for individuals as required to ensure we fulfil all health & safety requirements.
- Ensure that all accidents & near misses are properly recorded and that the necessary action is taken to prevent further occurrences.
- Develop and maintain site HS policies & statement to ensure it is kept up to date.
- Attend management meetings.
- Manage all preventative maintenance & servicing contracts for site.
Criteria;
- NEBOSH certification (may consider working towards if relevant experience)
- Experience of health and safety practice within warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of current statutory health and safety law in NI
- Experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures
