Engineering Manager

As the Engineering Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the leadership and development of Facilities and Process Maintenance, Critical Utilities, Process Engineering & Equipment Validation teams.
• Oversee acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, disposition of building systems, and production equipment
• Develop and implement capital activities. Identify areas for engineering and financial improvement and enable their inception while maintaining an appropriate level of availability and reliability of equipment (Asset Life Cycle Management).
• Responsible for the successful implementation of highly technical or involved engineering projects in the creation and development of automatic, semi-automatic and manually controlled production machines, and auxiliary equipment
• Prioritise engineering projects and assignments for completion by the appropriate engineering teams.
• Develop strategy and lead the implementation of systems and processes that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.

You will have:

• A Degree-level qualification or equivalent or relevant experience within a Science or Engineering related discipline
• Minimum 10 years' experience preferred in either pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical manufacturing or other highly regulated environment
• Experience of current GMPs, SOPs, Quality System Regulation, and ISO Requirements
• Experience with plant systems typically found in pharmaceutical GMP production, including clean steam, Water for Injection, autoclaves etc.
