Job Description
MCS Group is thrilled to announce a collaboration with an innovative Irish company in their search for a Business (construction) Information Manager/Document Controller. Our client stands at the forefront of their field, providing unparalleled services and support to major players within the construction and built environment sectors in Ireland, revolutionising project management processes to be fit for the 21st century.
In this role as project information manager you will oversee a number of construction and built environment projects from concept to delivery. Your responsibility will be to meticulously gather, organise, and present all essential documentation, data, and certifications with precision and accuracy. Additionally, you will actively engage with external stakeholders, providing invaluable support during their onboarding process and maintaining existing customer relationships. You will have the opportunity to visit client sites to develop a deep understanding of individual project requirements and enhance partner relationships.

The requirements:
- The candidate must be within a commutable distance to Dublin HQ and client sites
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
- Prior experience working in or alongside construction-focused organisations
- Experience in BIM (Business information management), data management, or similar
- Extensive organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly adapt to an evolving industry landscape
- Exceptional communication skills
The Role:
- Collate and review key information, data and certificates to meet specific client and project requirements
- Onboarding of new clients to the project management platform
- Consult external parties on industry standards and best practices
- Presentation of progress reports to both internal and external stakeholders
- Act as an advisory body to external clients, communicating the depth and scope of information that you will require at different stages of projects
- Collate, organise and store essential multi-media documentation and data appropriately
- Uphold standards for data validation and accuracy
