Job Description
MCS Group are currently working with one of the largest family retailers that was founded in 1931 and are now one of the largest retailers in the UK.
This company operates multiple dealerships spread across Portadown, Newtownabbey, and Belfast, representing nine different manufacturers. They've recently embarked on a significant cloud migration project, utilising modern technologies like Azure, and are seeking an adept Service Desk Analyst to bolster their 11-person service desk team.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the migration from on-premises to cloud.
- Managing user onboarding, ensuring smooth setup on AD, Office 365, and other internal systems.
- Providing support to various teams across different company sites.
- Overseeing server management, networking (including Cisco routers and switches), Microsoft Intune, and SCCM.
This position presents an exciting opportunity for growth, with potential to advance into roles such as Infrastructure or Network Engineer. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and possess a strong enthusiasm for development.
Benefits include:
- Salary: Up to £29,000
- 37.5 hours per week
- Overtime compensation for weekend work, if required.
Essential qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in service desk or IT support roles.
- Proficiency in Azure, AD, and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
