Project Manager - Public sector

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an independent consultancy firm established over 10 years ago on the lookout for a Senior consultant to come in and manage the business case division consulting contracts. My client is a true disruptor working specifically with the community, voluntary and public sectors.

The Role

As the Senior consultant you will lead on the delivery of consulting contracts with a team of associate consultants, making sure all deadlines are met and in line with the client requirements, providing a lasting impact on the people, organisations and communities supporting social change. You will be working closely with clients in the public and voluntary sectors managing the development and submission of large funding bids.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing, delivering and co-ordinating consulting projects efficiently, within budget and aligned to the client brief.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Producing high quality reports, being the face of the company and keeping your clients happy.
• Demonstrate leadership and responsibility in the successful delivery of the consulting projects.

The Person

• 3 years' experience working in a consultancy capacity or with direct experience of engaging consultants.
• Experience working in public/ voluntary sector organisations.
• Must have strong experience writing submission of large funding bids.

• Lead on the delivery of high quality and impactful consultancy services to clients aligned to the client brief. This includes facilitating meetings, consultations, analysis of data, report writing and client management.
• Ability to build strong client relationships.
