M&E Supervisor - Maintenance Team

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a large Public Sector Organisation to add a Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor to their maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising the building and maintenance team staff.

The role:

• Maintain NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor title, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supervise M&E staff and contractors, ensuring quality and addressing issues.
• Plan and allocate M&E maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance.
• Provide technical advice, manage contractors, and attend meetings.
• Prepare costings for works, ensuring best value.
• Source materials and oversee equipment use, adhering to policies.
• Ensure health and safety measures for M&E works.
• Liaise with departments, produce reports, and handle administrative tasks.

The Person:

• BS 7671 18^th edition qualification 2382, City & Guilds or equivalent OR
• NVQ level 3 craft qualification C&G 2357 installing electro-technical systems OR C&G 2356 level 3 in electrical installation OR C&G 236 electrical installation parts 1&2 or A&B.
• A minimum of 5 year's post apprentice/time served as an electrician within the Building Maintenance.
• In depth knowledge in the installation and maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
• Hold a full current driving licence.
