Job Description
The Role will consist of:
- Budget management
- Providing support to budget holders with monthly forecasting
- Identify and monitor budget risks and opportunities
- Undertaking all month end tasks
- Preparation of finance reports and translation of financial information to non-financial stakeholders
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- An accounting qualification
- Extensive financial experience (journals, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to advise and support staff across all levels in terms of financial matters
- Willingness to be assessed against CTC clearance requirements
Desirable:
- Experience working in a government department or public sector entity
- Understanding of government finance
